Top 5 Free Things You Have To Do This November in Montreal
Hello fellow Montrealers! Have you and your friends been looking for some new and exciting things to do this month? You’ve come to the right place. Our ArtReal crew rounded up the top 5 activities on their November to-do lists; and of course, the best part is, they’re free!
Livart Montral Art Gallery (Nov. 11-12): For those of you who love and appreciate art as much as we do, Le Livart is hosting a 1-year anniversary gallery that is a must-see. You’ll also get to participate in a wide range of activities such as contributing to a collective masterpiece, experiencing some virtual art reality, and putting on your dancing shoes for some love bands and performances.

Artisans Westmount (Nov. 11-12): If you’d love to see some handmade crafts made by talented local artists, be sure to stop by the Artisans Westmount event in Westmount. Over 30 specially selected artisans will be coming together to showcase their original creations; the work ranging from ceramic to wood. Of course, if you choose to purchase something, that’s your choice (a very wise one), but the event itself is totally free and open to the public.

ArtReal Community Creations Event (Nov. 14): If you haven’t heard of us yet, we’re a super cool community that loves to bring creative spirits together, which is what this event is all about. We rented out an entire plain studio for all kind of artists to come and use the space as they like. Come and showcase your artwork, paint on the walls, host a photography session or even bring your guitar. We want to make this boring space come to life with your help. Of course, people simply interested in viewing the magic that will take place in the studio are always welcome!

Admire Montreal’s beauty (any day): If you’re searching for the perfect place to visit to add some fall aesthetics into your instagram feed, the Mount Royal lookout is the answer to your wishes. Although it’s free to go and take in the beautiful scenery all year round, we think that November is the perfect month for the most breathtaking views. We recommend you go and appreciate all the beautiful golden and crimson hues before the snow comes and wipes them all away.
Extra information: You can reach Mount Royal by car, public transportation, bicycle or on foot. There are various public buses that pass through Mount-Royal and there is even a Metro station called Mount-Royal.
